By using Receipt Vault, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
What Receipt Vault does
Receipt Vault helps you organize receipts, proof documents, warranties, return windows, serial numbers, purchase details, and local reminders. The app is an organization tool. It is not a retailer, insurer, warranty provider, repair provider, or legal adviser.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing OCR results, parsed receipt data, dates, and reminders.
- Keeping original proof documents where required by a retailer or manufacturer.
- Confirming return, warranty, and repair deadlines with the relevant provider.
- Maintaining access to your device and any device backups you choose to use.
- Using the app only for lawful purposes and for records you have the right to store.
No guarantee of claims, returns, or warranty coverage
Receipt Vault can help you organize proof of purchase, but it cannot guarantee that a retailer, manufacturer, warranty provider, carrier, or repair provider will accept a claim, refund, exchange, or repair request. Their policies and decisions control those outcomes.
Reminders and OCR
Reminders, warranty status, return windows, and OCR results may be late, inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable because of user input, device settings, operating-system behavior, parsing errors, or notification permissions. You should not rely on Receipt Vault as your only record or only reminder for important deadlines.
Your content
You keep ownership of the purchase records, receipt files, images, PDFs, notes, and other content you add to Receipt Vault. You grant us the limited right to process that content only as needed to provide app functionality on your device and to provide support if you choose to send content to us.
Paid features and subscriptions
Receipt Vault may offer paid features through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, billing, refund, and payment terms are handled by the app store where you purchased. Apple terms are available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes, and Google Play terms are available at play.google.com/about/play-terms.
Subscription status may be managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat's terms are available at revenuecat.com/terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Receipt Vault to store content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to bypass purchase, subscription, or entitlement checks.
- Reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the app or website.
- Use the app to create fraudulent proof of purchase or false claims.

Limitation of liability

Termination
